I really like shopping at Haggen. They have a good selection, decent prices, and very fresh produce. I love some of their ready-made stuff... especially the spinach dip. The store is always spotless and the employees are helpful.


Who says grocery stores are all the same?

Before Haggen’s moved in near us, I thought one grocery store was pretty much the same as any other. That was before Haggen’s. There are choices galore in every department. Their produce is excellent quality. About 30-50% of the produce department is certified organic. Their meat/fish department actually knows what they are selling. They have a large number of ready to cook items just waiting for your dinner table. The deli is equally great...they have the standard salads and lunchmeat, but also a surprising variety of prepared foods. Staff in all departments are sincerely helpful and knowledgeable. Ok so the prices are little higher than the other stores. I am happy to pay it for fresh items as I can see the difference in quality. PROS: Variety, quality, value CONS: too many choices, slightly higher prices
